LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN

APRIL 20 – MAY 16

Read · Reflect
Engage · Create

Picture
Santa Fe Public Library invites you to connect with your community to explore themes of self-empowerment, love, regret, and transformation through the lens of Greek mythology as part of 2024 Santa Fe Reads. This countywide 5-week reading festival brings together more than 30 local organizations to co-create enriching activities to promote connection and conversation around this year’s themes.

This year’s featured selection is Circe by Madeline Miller with additional alternate selections for younger readers.

Our adventure begins on Saturday, April 20 at the Santa Fe Teen Center and the Southside Library. Join us for an afternoon of family fun activities, giveaway books, and a community concert featuring Wendy Rule. Experience your glorious self in front of expansive wings by artist Carrie Mae Rose and listen to her artist talk.

Our journey’s end is a culminating event with the Santa Fe International Literary Festival on Thursday, May 16, featuring a conversation with Madeline Miller and a live opening performance by Teatro Paraguas. This event will be held at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center.

2024 Santa Fe Reads is presented by the City of Santa Fe Public Library with support from the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read grant, local sponsors, and community partners.
